Ok can I just rant about customers and their questions and requests and stuff. Like, I act all polite to them, but seriously these questions that everyone asks gets on my nerves.
Can I have my sauce on the side?
...Why on earth would we put it on your food? There's literally no logical reason for this. I can go on and on about why we wouldn't put the sauce on the food.
How many sides do I get if I get a plate?
Two.
How many sides for the one meat?
Two.
How many for the sandwich plate?
Two.
How many for the rib plate?
Every plate comes with two sides.
(After looking at the menu boards) Oh, I see.
So which sides would you like?
How many do I get?
Does that come with a drink?
What fast food restaurant do you know of where a meal doesn't come with a drink?
And look at the menu board. You'll find your answer.
Can I get a dessert as a side?
Do you see desserts underneath the sides on the menu? No. They're a whole two boards over.
