My nerves have been super sensitive lately. Like things that don't usually hurt do
-
Hormones, hon.
-
Are you sure that's a hormonal thing?
Like, I can feel my clothes rubbing against my body so my skin is just constantly hurting
Any sort of pressure hurts. My sister was poking me trying to get my attention and that really hurt, wind or air conditioning hurts, patting my legs, just touching anything hurts. -
I don't know, then. Never heard of that happening.
-
Hi! Tat, I'm someone who suffers from chronic pain and a few chronic conditions. That defintley sounds to me like a skin condition?
But could also be a sign of early chronic pain.
I'd take your concerns to your parents and note anything down!
Especially if it begins to affect sleeping eating or breathing 🙏 -
*anything touching me, not necessarily me touching anything.
It's been happening a little over the past few days, but today's been the worst.
I told my mom about it, she told me to take an epsom salt bath. -
That’s never happened to me before, or at least I never realized it. Maybe your clothes are just getting itchy or something?
-
I would defintley try a salt bath!
I do those for my skin condition, and it genuinley can soothe symptoms.
I'd also suggest keeping notes to present to a doctor to either get a diagnose, lain meds or maybe some other fix?
It could be an allergy for the skin things
Skin contact stuff could be a sign of a neurdodivergency such as autism, but the physical pain on your nerves and when someone pokes you wouldn't be a symptom of that.
Whatever it is I really hope you can find something that works -
Let's see if the salt bath works first lol
I just thought of this possibility.
My dog could have rolled around in the neighbor's grass then decided that she wanted to use my clean laundry as a bed. I'm allergic to the neighbor's grass. -
I bet that’s why then
-
There we are, folks, we've solved the case.
-
Look at us problem solving 😎
-
Well I have some clothes in the dryer, so all the ones from the last load can go in the laundry.
-
Maybe just change since allergic reactions are still bad
-
The problem is I'm not sure which clothes were in the same load as these ones.
So what I'm going to do is after supper I'm going to take a bath then change into my PJs, which I know aren't itchy.
Then come morning, my clothes will be all dry
