Ok, I was going to say, because 13-year-olds aren't legally allowed to have a job.
If your parents own the store/shop/business, then honestly, they're not even legally required to pay you until you're 18.
A 40-hour workweek is the max amount a 14-year-old is allowed to work. I'm not sure if the rule is different in a family business, though. -
