Really trying hard on this aesthetics quiz.. it takes a lot of careful deliberation to incorporate popular styles while being mindful of their cultural backgrounds and making the distinction between the modern vibe and the actual history of them.
Really emotionally taxing too because I am using TikTok to find some popular ones and I absolutely cannot stand these kids calling aesthetics things like "Hippie core." No ma'am, you cannot do that. You cannot just add core to the end of a preexisting style. you also cannot just casually throw in things like tarot. That is widely misleading and potentially hurtful to those who do seriously practice things like runes or tarot separately as a spiritual belief. -
Bottom line? Don't add religious or spiritual things into your cutsie moodboards. Not all hippies practice those beliefs. Just like not all goths are satanist or wiccan. Just keep those things separate.

You cannot just appropriate rave culture as a cutsie aesthetic oh my goodness. Half the kids on TikTok don't even know what rave culture looks like. -
Dude I get that it's a fad and I'm just trying to farm clicks with this quiz but I'm seriously so overwhelmed by these kids.
The have one called glam core too and I really should not have to explain why that's just entirely inappropriate for fifteen year olds to be googling. -
