and I could cry thinking about this stupid group chat
I lived a long time feeling so replaceable, forgettable and unimportant to anyone
and I learned that
and I've wasted a long time assuming my love was always going to be one-sided, to find my reward for my love and support in the simple fact that I was useful to another person in any way rather than expecting anyone to sincerely feel anything for me -
I've always felt like other people look down on me, see me as a charity case to give their leftover kindness to, like there's something actually wrong with me that they can see and I can't

and to expect people that only tolerate me out of pity to actually go out of their way for me? that's unkthinkable

and despite what I thought I knew, I got up the nerve to ask like 15 people I've either been close to and drifted away from at some point or just care for from a distance and wish to be closer to to join a group chat
full disclosure, I want all my friends there, and I have friends from all over the place, and somehow, every single one said yes.

like people that I met online, people from school, people from all my many jobs, just got thrown in a group chat and they talk to each other, and share about their lives, and meme each other and we game together, and call, and share music, and support one another, and I'm just
