  *see's a pair of shoes at Walmart that is full on LGBTQ*
  Me: Hey Mom, can I get these shoes?
  Mom: *looks at shoes* No.
  Me: But they mean a lot to me. :)
  Mom: How so?
  Me: Well you see-
  Mom: I don't care. I said no and no means no.
