I'm getting a popping noise around my temples, like right at my hair line by there. At first I thought it was my glasses but when I took them off the popping noise continued.

The noise you're hearing is sometimes called crepitus. It can have different causes: Compression of nitrogen bubbles in the spaces of the joints.

I mean I've been told I need to start taking magnesium, maybe that has something to do with it?

It's caused by stress, not getting enough sleep, or just wearing glasses or other things that go over ears -
That doesn't seem like something that would cause a snapping sound

My parents said that it might be my jaw
But I had thought that too and had put my tongue between my teeth so that my jaw wouldn't move and it still happened
