No, profile pictures represent yourself. GTQ automatically gives you a pfp like that to tell everyone what kind of erosion you are.
Mine was green because Chameleons are usually green, you just called green stupid >:( -

I will tell you the GTQ hack for changing your pic as a newbie.
Step 1. Go to link a quiz on your profile.
Step 2. Type in The Random Quiz and put in the password: random
Step 3. You will temporarily become a novice after this, which will allow you to change your profile pic.
Step 4. Go back to your profile and you should see the option to change the picture. -
