It's getting hard for me to want to attend (even though I don't get a choice) because I'm starting to not agree with the way my parents raised me in religion, and it's seriously got me wanting nothing to do with it anymore.
They've manipulated me about it all my life, and now that I'm starting to openly disagree with a lot of what they're saying, they're punishing me and lecturing me and forcing me to see things the way they do. -

a lot of christian/catholic parents force their beliefs onto their kids, and it's not right. my m respected my opinion when i got older (but still doesn't like us saying "jesus christ" or "oh my god")
anyway, they may have birthed you but they can't control you. you're a human being with free will, don't take their s--- -
True. But for them, it's either take their ways or they'll take my things. And believe me, if anyone can figure out how to confiscate everything down to emotions, they can.
So, I have to at least attend to keep them off my back, but I'm really not interested anymore. -
(But, my statement from yesterday still stands. It just feels weird to not have anyone to legit crush on or be into. Feels lonely to not have anyone to direct feelings to. They'd occupy my mind and make me feel less lonely. It was thoughts of others that got me through the days, but for the first time in my life, I have nothing that satisfies in this way.)

yeah, that makes sense. i've had s--- confiscated before (dad always threatened to "clean" my room by throwing everything but my bed away). hopefully you'll be able to stop living under their iron fist

Yeah.
But, on the bright side, I should be getting to an eye doctor quite soon. I might need two pairs of glasses, though, because I'm so active. My mom doesn't want me to break one pair and not have any replacements. -
aww, lucky. my brother broke my glasses in a fight, after i told him to wait so i could take off my glasses, and i got in trouble. two years later, haven't gotten a pair since so i might try ordering contacts
