Because I decided that it would be great to spend my summer working in Yellowstone, so now I have to drive for three days to get up there. And now realization of what I’m doing has set in, and I’m at the stage of anxiety and being like “what the heck am I doing?”/“what is wrong with me?” Because I literally applied to this job on Monday, had an interview on Thursday, and now five days later I’m headed up there.

Yes, I totally get that. Long boring car rides and the bajillions of stops for bathroom breaks. It makes you wish you could just teleport.

In other news: I found out recently that bubala is actually Jewish for children, when we thought this whole time it was Polish. Which means that my mom grew up using Polish, Russian, and Yiddish for certain words (with English being the main language and the others just had sprinkles of words here and there) and I’m pretty sure we have now created our own language by combining all of them to make up words

Right?? Teleportation is the one superpower I wish I had. And this time I’m actually going to be driving too because it’s just my mom and me going, which is probably what I’m so nervous/anxious about

It makes it very confusing though lol because I remember talking to my friends when I was in middle school and I said “dupa” instead of “butt/ass” and they all looked at me weird and I was surprised to find out that they didn’t know what I just said

Yeah. I would be nervous about being so tired tht I fall asleep behind the wheel. Of course, I haven't even taken driver's ed yet so ig idk if it would be easy to fall asleep behind the wheel.

Lol it’s not really easy to fall asleep behind the wheel because you’re usually checking your mirrors and focusing on the road. And if you do get tired, you can just blast the music and start singing. I’m just worried that other people are going to crash into me

I went home that day and seriously questioned everything lmao I didn’t even know what a vagina was until 7th grade because my mom had always called it something else, so I was really confused when I would hear other people say “vagina”

Oh. Yeah, that makes sense. The one thing I'm most scared about for whenever I start driver's ed is the highway. You go so fast and if you just bump the steering wheel a little you kinda turn a lot. At least that's what it felt like when my older sister was driving at first and she was still learning.
