That’s true, and I was honestly really scared at first to drive on the highway too, but once when you do it, you kind of see the unspoken rules of driving on the expressway. For instance, most cars stay in the right lane until they reach a car that is going to slow and then they will pass them. Also, when you’re merging onto the highway, cars on there will most likely already see you and will move over to the left lane to let you merge without a problem

Oh yeah, I find it absolutely hilarious now lol but back then I was just genuinely confused as to what was happening because I honestly thought that those were English words and everyone used them

Oh, well that's nice. I guess that makes me feel a little better about driving. I was gonna start classes in April but then Covid happened, so I had to wait. I'll be taking them really soon.

Yeah, COVID kinda ruined it for a lot of people. I never took driver’s ed cause I just waited until I was 18 to get my license

Oh nice.
Yeah, my sister hasn't been able to take her test because of covid, so she still only has her permit, but she's been ready to take the test since March or April I think -
The driving test isn’t that hard. At least, where I took it it wasn’t. All I really had to do was park it between two cones, back up 50 meters, and make a three point turn. I was also asked how to park on the side of a hill (got that question wrong. What you do is put on the hand brake/emergency brake and then turn your wheels so if your car rolls backwards, it’ll swing out away from the road) And he just told me to remember to turn on my blinker when pulling into a spot, but I still passed it on my first try. It took my brother three times, but we were in a different state for his

I think I’m going to try and get some sleep now, but thanks for talking to me; it definitely helped with my anxiety
