every time I hear a police siren I'm paranoid it's for me. after I accidentally shoplifted that candy, I seriously couldn't even sleep because I thought the police saw me and followed me home and were going to burst into my dorm.
like logically I know that would never happen but emotionally I'm convinced it will
I had to call my dad to calm me down because I was freaking out. I never call my dad. he's been to jail a few times so I thought he could talk some sense into me
that was months ago but every time I hear sirens I tense up until they pass because I'm afraid they're going to come take me to the mental hospital like what happened 3 years ago or they're gonna arrest me for murder or something (I also have an obsession that I'm going to be framed for murder don't ask it goes wayyyy back) -
when I was 14 I had to call the police because I heard my mom's boyfriend trying to strangle her to death, like actually strangle and murder her not kinky s---, and it was surreal hearing the sirens come closer, knowing they were for me, that I called them. It was so scary. I still remember the officer knocking on my
bedroom door and me opening it. I couldn't even look him in the face. I was shaking so hard I couldn't stand. He didn't have any evidence to make an arrest and my mother wouldn't turn her bf in, so he couldn't do anything for me but he told me his name and talked to me and said to call him again anytime if something happened. Idr his name though. He was really kind.
But then again I was a scrawny blond-hair blue-eyed white kid so ofc he was nice -
