The quiet room is a room away from other people really stressed out students can go and calm down so they can go back to class.
-
That's nice to have. We don't really get stressed out students. Only annoying, energetic ones.

I found my friend!

You guys should've seen what happened at the basketball tournament this weekend. There was a free-throw (I was on the bench right then), and so, people were trying to get the rebound. Well, the other team is really tiny, so it wasn't surprising when one of my team members bumped into one of the other team's people. I guess it was more of a push, and the kid goes down and hits his head. We get the ball and make a lay-up. Then the refs call a ref time-out, and start talking, meanwhile, this kid is standing in the middle of the court, clutching his head, screaming from the pain, and the refs aren't doing a thing about it. His dad comes down from the stands, and rushes to his son, then goes over to the refs. The big gray-haired ref told the dad that he should've gone straight to his son, and everybody's like, he did. The boy's coach is trying to tell the refs that our taem mate had fouled him, which he did, and the big ref even says that he made a bad call, but he said it wasn't a foul, and that's the way it's going to be. They start arguing, and you hear the kid yell, "Don't yell at my dad!" Then suddenly the dad apologizes, I don't remember what for, and startes to leave the gym. Then the big ref yells out something (again, I don't remember), and the dad whips around, fire in his eyes, and we all knew that he could easily beat up the ref. People start coming down from the stands, putting a human barrier between the two, and the principal of the school, tells the dad that he'll take care of it. The dad noddes, thanks him, grabs his son and leaves the gym. The game continues after that. Outside the gym, the dad is talking on the phone, obviously telling someone about the ref. After the game (we won), I passed the dad, and he said that he liked the principal, and was thankful that he was going to fix it. Honestly, that ref is so biased, he missed so many things (like eight-step travels and so many fouls), and was just plain mean.

Wow. That's crazy. Looks like you had an interesting weekend.

I had the best weekend ever! On Friday my friends and I we all did this girl's night out, even though we were at home, and we did face masks and we painted our nails and watched movies and it was so much fun. yesterday I had solo and ensemble (which is a really long story, I'll tell it if someone wants) and long story short it was destined to go horrible but it went amazing, and then last night I went to a TobyMac concert and it was SO AMAZING I got to meet Aaron Cole and then I cried afterward cause and I was bawling and was like *sniff* I just *sniff* talked to someone *sniff* famous! and THEN later today I am going to go see Freaky Friday, a musical that is going to be put on by the local community theater, I'm so pumped!

Oh my. Have fun!

Another weird thing from the tournament. I was talking with one of my friends from another team, and I was telling her about a hard situation I had been in once. A girl from her team, #23, overhears a bit of it, walks up to me, and says, "Well, I'm stronger, faster, and smarter than you." My friend told her to go away, and I'm like, I've never even seen you before now. How and why would you know or assume this?
-
Okay, why would someone even be that rude and mean?
-
Which person, the ref or the girl?
-
I don't know why. They just like it maybe?
