I'm going to have some chocolate . . . that might help.
-
do you want someone to talk to?
-
hope you're ok
-
Tat, just know I'm here for you, okay?
-
I don't really know what there is to talk about. I've been told depression runs deep in the family, but I wouldn't think it would just pop up randomly like this. Or it might be this stay at home thing finally getting to me. I don't know. I hope I'm okay too.
The chocolate did help. I'm not crying anymore, and feel a little more stable, but still on the verge of . . . well I don't know what, because I've never had this happen to me before. -
I'm almost shaking trying to keep it all in.
-
Actually, depression can hit quite suddenly without any warning. It doesn't always show up when you're a kid. It usually shows up when you're older, and then it sticks around, and you just kind of know.
Regardless of what it was, I hope you're going to be OK. I know how frustrating it is to cry without reason. I can't imagine how you felt, but don't ever feel bad for crying. Everyone cries. Even if there isn't a specific reason for it, it's valid.
Take deep breaths if you can. Try to keep yourself from relapsing. We're here for you. You're going to make it through this. -
I ate so much chocolate that I don't really want any, but it seems to be the only thing that's helping. I know that chocolate helps with . . . something about hormones, I don't remember. It was happening a bit earlier today, and my mom told me that maybe riding my bike would help. It only made it worse. So yeah, I guess it's chocolate or nothing.

Thanks, Dark. It means a lot.

For me, it's always the sweets and treats that help. But you just can't always have that, especially since it's unhealthy. A lot of times when I am feeling especially depressed I write it all out. Yes, like you just did, but I usually write my feelings out in a journal. And then I also try to watch funny youtube videos that make me laugh. The youtube videos help a lot :)

Well, chocolate is proven to help with things like this. I don't remember the specifics.
I don't keep a journal. I tried it a few times, and I just didn't write in it. This thread is the closest thing I've had to a journal. -
If you ever want to talk to someone because you don't want to be alone in your thoughts, feel free to "summon" me. I try to pay attention to mentions of me so I can pop in as needed. But I also know that sometimes, we just need some alone time (which is 100% okay, as long as you don't get hurt more by isolating yourself).

I hope you feel better. Is there anything I can do to help you
-
Thanks. I am feeling better. Probably going to watch Star Trek tonight. That's one of the weird things everyone in my family does when they're not in the best mood. Angry? Watch Star Trek. Sad? Watch Star Trek. Happy? Watch Star Trek. Don't know what it is about that show.

And if not that, then Doctor Who. But we haven't been able to watch the 13th Docto, because it's not free on amazon yet.
