"Hey, who's that kid?" Looking up scaredly, Selene finally made the choice to run into the nearby forest. "Hey! Get back here" That soldier shouted at her, and started to follow.

Papua prayed the warriors would not find her, but alas they did. One of the warriors, while looking for valuables, opened the trunk to find a small girl.

Okie doki
Running as fast as she could, Selene made it eventually to the end of the island, out of breath. Suddenly she was pulled into the arms of someone and then she blacked out. -
Back
"Well, seems as though there is something valueble in here." the warrior said, pulling her out of the trunk. As the other warriors continued searching, the one holding onto Papua lead her to a row of canoes at the shoreline. -
"I found the girl," said the warrior, carrying Selene back to their boats. "Okay, put her with the other slaves," his superior told him. "Yes sir," he said and laid her in one of the canoes.

"Here's the last of them." the warrior who was holding Papua said, shoving her into one of the canoes. Papua looked around, eyes wide with fear.

Selene finally regained consciousness and rubbed the front of her head. She remembered what was happening and realized she was in a canoe. Before she could run out she heard one of the soldiers call out something in their native language, and the boats started to move away from shore.

Papua looked around for any sign of her father, but found none. She rubbed at her eyes, and tried her best to stay out of the warriors' way.
