Why do lgbts get a whole month for being different, when people who fought, died, and served their country only get a day
Explain that liberals -
THANK YOU
-
Youre f---ing welcome

People just feel like because they want to be different that they are automatically entitled to have everyone respect them
That's not how it works, people. Respect is earned, not demanded.
Just because you're not content with your genitals does not mean you need to be a complete jerk to everyone who thinks you should be.
And yes I will get hate for saying that but I don't care. I'm sick of having to respect everyone's stupid titles and pronouns. Why can't people just be satisfied with their bodies? And if they're not, why can't they keep it to themselves? But no, they have to make sure the entire world knows they are different and that absolutely no one even thinks a single judgmental thought about them.
Just knock it off, okay?
Yeah that's super stereotypical but it's still true. -
Nah thats like hella whats happening, and it needs to stop
Tired of people shoving their sexualities down other peoples throats -
Omg another conservative š¤©
-
How dare you
-
yikes
let's just pretend people aren't executed, tortured, raped, defiled, killed, disowned, etc. by their families literally worldwide for who they are
they may not be fighting battles with guns and weapons but they fight for their freedom. maybe we don't deserve an entire month, but holy s---, im sorry you guys are so inconsiderate about the hundreds of thousands of deaths and discrimination they face
especially LGBTQ people of color, they have it the worst -
I mean LGBT+ people should be treated as well as the next person ofc, but seriously a whole pride month really is overdoing it.

This discussion goes nowhere when it becomes a contentious us versus them battle.
I know what it's like not to feel comfortable in my body. I know what it's like to grow up and try to find your identity, what it's like to want to find love and a relationship. I couldn't have come out of sexual sin just by someone saying "Stop feeling that way". We can't save ourselves.
I'm a Christian now. I had to lay down everything in my life that was idolatry at God's feet in order to serve Him. His love is greater than anything in this world. The only way people change anything in their lives is by falling in love with something better.
The Gospel has the power to save people out of any sin. All of us have broken God's law, and cannot be saved by our attempts to keep the law. Christ came and died to reconcile sinners with God, and make repentance and living for holiness possible. Apart from the working of the Holy Spirit, we cannot be sanctified. It's by faith and following the leading of Christ we live the worthwhile lives God planned for us from the foundation of the earth.
Politics isn't the answer to this problem. Using force to make the other side agree with you or silence dissenting voices through fear may be how you win an election, but it's not how you win hearts or change lives. People won't listen if they think you're against them or trying to harm them. They listen when they recognize genuine concern for them and conviction for truth in our words.
