I think we're as prepared as we can be. We have the windows secured, everything that can be blown away outside picked up, a generator, and we're stocked up on food and water.

We also have a good drainage system here. 8 to 12 inches of rain are predicted for my area with 60 mph wind gusts. I think we can take it.

Monday's forecast says the wind gusts could occasionally reach 80. That's a little scary, but I'd rather take that over the destruction that just happened in the islands.
