so we got
jordan, late twenties, finishing the last year of his degree. He started college two years late because he wanted to travel the world before settling down and getting to business. He comes from a fairly well-off family, and still talks to his mother daily, either in person or over the phone. he works the graveyard shift at the hospital where he's completing his nursing program. drinks too much coffee, has perpetual bedhead and loves books a lot more than he should- often falls asleep while reading one. loves learning new things, has a f---ing vocabulary calendar that his mom got him for Christmas and he LOVES it. soft nerd, needs to be protected. loves his girlfriend but knows things are going to end soon, but isn't willing to cut it off and save himself some heartbreak.
daniel, mid-twenties, a mechanic. forever grease-stained, doesn't fold his laundry. started an apprenticeship at a repair shop when he was sixteen and inherited the business from his uncle a few short years later. drinks a bit too much but abhors smoking, kinda off-standish and a bit sharp at the edges, you know? but is working on starting a community garden and is just the sweetest man ever, really, really loves his girlfriend. doesn't talk to his parents much but he wants to reconnect with them, has made a lot of mistakes. just wants to be happy, settle down and have a family some day.
jess, early twenties, trying to finish her business degree but has no passion for it and feels like she's throwing her life away to please everyone else and do what is considered safe. she works at a florists shop and loves it but declined becoming the general manager because she wants... more with her life, but she doesn't know WHAT exactly. feels like she's forever standing still. has a boyfriend, and a lover, jordan and daniel respectively. loves them both but in different ways: jordan is safe, respectful and kind, daniel is exciting and younger and wants life, whereas jordan is content with what he's already tasted. she's just trying to be happy, too.
vivi/vivian: jess's best friend, but also daniel's close friend. is just tryina get her girl to save herself a little bit of pain. waitress, gets hit on a lot, is actually gay but flirts with the sleazy old men because tips are good. late twenties, engaged to a girl who she loves vvvvv much
quinn, late twenties, "been there, done that, seen it all" kind of person, jordan's co-worker and closest friend, encourages him to stand up for himself and do what he needs to do to be happy. put himself first for a f---ing change.
jacksoooooon: mutual friend of jordan and daniel, they all knew each other back when they were in high school before jordan went on his "soul-searching journey" and now they're all reconnecting because they're back in the same city, wow, wow, wow. jackson finds out about jess and then find out that daniel knows about jess's f---ing boyfriend and is like "wtf bro" and sets the conflict resolution off
Mrs. Deerwood, jordan's mom. likes jess but doesn't trust her, tells her she needs to settle. not a great influence tbh.
split stage between jordan's bedroom and daniel's living room. let's get this going. -
BTS honestly deserves the success they've been experiencing.. I mean, their music videos are always phenomenal, their music is beautiful, and their group dynamics are admirable. Don't get me wrong, I love GOT7 and they will always be my number one group and I know they're gonna go far.. It's just, I thought we were past shaming games/music/activities because they're mainstream. f--- that notion.
BTS deserves their growing fame. I just hope those boys stay healthy. -

Jackson took more than a hundred plane rides this past year. Whuch neans he was, on average, on a plane every three days. I f---ing love him and I know he's pushing because he wants to do well, but he needs to take care of himself and it makes me LIVID when people hate on hin for being tired and less energetic LIKE f---ING YEAH WHAT DO YOU EXPECT u g h
