scenes:
1. bedroom; Jess, Jordan, Vivian-
Jess comes back from spending the weekend with her boyfriend, Vivian questions her about Daniel to reveal the conflict
2(A). living room; Jess, Daniel, Quinn, Jackson
Daniel, Quinn and Jackson reunite after not seeing each other for a while. He introduces them to Jess, who leaves shortly after to go talk to her professors
2(B). living room; Daniel, Quinn, Jackson, Jordan
The four friends talk about old times and Jordan's trip around the world, about college and what they're wanting from life. Jordan talks about how he thinks his girlfriend is cheating on him, shows them a picture. Daniel freaks out and leaves.
3. living room; Daniel, Jess, Jordan.
Daniel tells Jess that he's met her boyfriend and that he knows who he is. They argue a bit. Jordan shows up unexpectedly, and Daniel quickly hides Jess in the bathroom. Daniel and Jordan talk about how much they've missed each other, Jordan asks him what he would do if he was in his place. Jordan leaves, followed by Jess.
4. bedroom; Mrs. Deerwood, Jordan, Jess
Jordan tells his mom he's going to confront Jess, they discuss the relationship in full, Jordan talks about his struggles with his degree and life in general and how he just doesn't want to be alone. Jess comes in, Jordan leaves. Mrs. Deerwood gives her rather cryptic advice about being honest.
5. living room; Daniel, Jackson,
Daniel tells Jackson about what he knows, and Jackson gives him advice. Daniel hesitates, and Jackson says that if he doesn't tell Jordan, he will. Daniel makes a choice.
6. bedroom; Jordan, Jess
Jordan wakes up and checks his word calendar, remarks that they've almost been dating for three years. They reflect on their relationship, Jordan confronts her, Jess denies it. He sighs but they both leave to start their days.
7. a living room; Daniel, Jess, Jordan
Jess tells Daniel that she thinks Jordan knows. Daniel tells her that he's going to tell Jordan the truth, Jess begs him not to, "it's easier to hurt someone I didn't know, it's too personal now" and then Jordan shows up sees them kissing, breaks up with Jess, who leaves after. Jordan and Daniel talk, Daniel decides to break up with Jess as well.
8. a bedroom; Jess, Jordan, Vivian
Jordan is packing his things to go stay with his mom, Jess is begging him not to leave. ("I never meant to-" "To what, hurt me? Was there any other way this could have played out?") Vivian arrives as he leaves, comforts Jess while she talks about how Daniel left her as well. Vivian reminds her that she warned her.
