it's not like the moderators "cut out" who WE don't like
every email we sent concerning new mods was filled with the list that we got from the last voting thing we did
i mean, we don't know alex personally, but he's a mod because he's good for this site
so it's already proof it's not "popularity" contest or "whoever we specifically" want
and as everyone has said before
you literally fight anyone who is a moderator
if someone "you like" became one you'd cause the same amount of drama you do for us onto them -

keturah became inactive again around the time seth and heph were elected, so we decided to suggest the next top candidates from the last election. it wasn't just us who liked them, it was the people who voted in that election too and gtq guy, the only one who has the power to elect mods lmao.
