I am sick and tired of being embarrassed, belittled and constantly wrongly accused by my own mother. I mean, she thought I was flicking hairbands and she told me to stop. Because I wasn't doing anything of the sort, I didn't stop and she started shouting. I showed her the elastic band I was fiddling with and said "See? Now leave me alone." With that, she grounded me for the weekend for saying 'leave me alone'. And after that, I burst into tears because she knew I was going to be hanging out with my friends. After that, she said, "Okay, I'll leave you alone. I'll leave you alone on a doorstep somewhere and leave you there.'
In the past, she has hit me with her hand, a hairbrush, she has banged my head against the wall, she tried to rip my hair out and blamed the nail marks on me brushing my hair too hard. And all this time, I have been crying myself to sleep most nights. If she can't find something, she instantly assumes that I moved it. If she is late to work, she blames me, when usually she is the one looking for her keys for half and hour. I am usually ready hours before she is. If she can't find something, she literally orders me to look around, but she is complaining wherever I look that she has already looked there. If we switch the roles and I can't find something, different story. She will stand by the door, huffing, and if I ask for help, she'll say it's my responsibility. I'm sick of it. I'd rather be torn to shreds by wolves than live in this wretched place any longer.
And oh, did I mention, all this time she has been turning my step dad against me. -

Magie, ya... My dad died, but it was his own fault. He was drunk, left the oven on, went to sleep... And got devoured by the flames of a house fire.
Cherryblossom, I'm glad that SOMEONE'S here for me... Even my Nan says that if my mum's done something that bad, then I must have done something severely wrong, but it's usually just my mum losing her patience. -
