Coldest: The mods are human like everyone one of us. But when you guys agreed on becoming mods, it is like agreeing to do your best and confront the problems. Sometimes things should be ignored. But when certain things are ignored only hatred grows. Locking the threads aren't fixing anything. I've still seen users getting spammed. I just got spammed a few days ago, but I don't let certain things get to me. I know how it feels to have someone target you, but talking it out helps the most. I think the mods should just state their honest opinions and try to change conflicts. That would be protecting all the users. When a problem is fixed there would be no need of locking threads. Locking threads seems to only build a brick wall between regular users and mods.

If people do not like us simply because we are locking our threads, then that seems to me like a very strange problem. Locking a thread when we go offline does not hurt anyone. I am not showing that I am immature, that I do not care, that I hate regular users, ect. I'm showing that I simply do not want someone posting in my thread, spammer, troll, argument-starter, or friend while I'm absent.
I post in other user's threads when I am not. I find that ridiculous that it's seen as drifting away from the userbase. I only lock my thread when I will not be on. I.. Can't even talk to people in my thread if I'm offline? That makes no sense to me. I'll get close to people while I'm on. Whether or not my thread is locked does not matter about my personality or behavior.
Drew and the others have no intentions of "resolving" anything because they have no legit problem. They start things to cause drama and agitate us, as you've seen her and others admit. I have no desire to try to resolve something that will never be resolved.
I'd rather take stress of locking or unlocking threads than stress about users attacking us for what we do. -
Okay, Kalafina, I really don't think you understand. There is no talking to be done. There is no argument to be resolved and no logic to be found. The kind of people that attack us are generally doing so only for a reaction. I don't know how I can say this so that you get it. You can't talk it out when someone is picking a fight just for the fun of it. All you can do is walk away.
