Mimi kicked a bit in her sleep, having a nightmare.

Dave woke in the night, feeling someone kick him in the leg.
'What the---?' he exclaimed. -
She gripped her pillow. "Ngh..."

David shook Mimi's shoulder. 'Mimi! Wake up!'

She turned and smacked him with one of her arms. "What...?!" She looked around, scared.

'Ow!' David exclaimed as he was hit in the face. He rubbed his cheek and looked at her. 'Don't worry, nothing's happened. God, you scared me!'

She snuggled close to him.

'Lemme guess, a nightmare?'

"Mhm. Hold me..."

Dave wrapped his arms around Mimi.

She smiled and closed her eyes.

It took David a little while, but he finally managed to fall asleep, still hugging Mimi.
