"Hmm... Jagger, eh? I've never heard of him." Lerini tossed the bills to Quincy, who stared at them in surprise. "The best advice I can give you? Stay away from this 'Jagger' and just deal with being a vampire on your own."

"Really? I'm already on the run from my parents. Now I get to spend an ETERNITY hiding from Jagger." Vamp was to confused at what to do when ever she turned 18. Just then Alexander slithered in. Vamp picked him up and set him around her neck.

Lerini just shrugged. "There are other vampires out there. Maybe you can get help from them. Or find a way to kill Jagger yourself."
Quincy walked over to the pair, and handed most of the money back to Vamp. He felt bad taking too much from her, considering that she didn't have anything (though she was still paying for the coffee table). "Lerini, do you think there's any way you could...?"
"Kill Jagger? Oh, come on now."
"Well, it's wrong to just let her be kidnapped!" -
Vamp stuck the money Quincy gave back to her in her pocket. Then Alexander, droped off Vamp's shoulder. He coiled up and started hissing. Only this time it wasnt at Quincy. At the door was Jagger himself. Jagger smiled at the snake. "What a nice friend you have Vamp." Vamp just glared at Jagger.

"Ugh. Just what I needed." Lereni rolled his shoulders. "Quincy, you should probably get out of here for a while."

Jagger eyes lighted up with delight. "This is how you kill love." Jagger said into Vamps mind. Then Jagger leaped towards Lerini. Vamp pushed Jagger away before he hit Lerini. Jagger looked up in surprise. "Your not supposed to be that strong yet!"

Lerini straightened his tousled hair, but otherwise seemed unaffected by the whole experience. His eyes had gone bright and cold.
"So, Jagger... How long have you been around? Who is your sire?" -
Lerini's voice brought Jagger out of his shock. "My sire? Ha! More like madam. And i have been around for about 2,973 years."

Quincy left the house and headed onto the back porch. He watched the action nervously through the glass door.
Lerini pondered this new information for a moment, then continued, "It took you that long to get a companion?" He pointed at Vamp. "And this is the best you could come up with?" -
"You have to rule so long under your changer. There is a difference between changer and companion. Just thought you should no foolish man. And actually, I didnt randomly choose her. It was fate. Also after liveing for as long trying not to kill grows harder. I had kept all my others human they either died naturally or i killed them myself." Jagger said. Vamp was ticked she wasnt sure what side she should choose...

Lerini chuckled. "Ah, 'fate'. The ultimate cop-out answer. Everything's 'fate' and 'destiny' and 'chosen ones' with some people."
He took a step forward. "You bore me. You should leave now."
