Screwy situation can be interpreted in a sexual and a non-sexual way.
It sounds like it started off non-sexual and ended highly sexual.

Did you all know that Monsters Inc. was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature of 2001, but lost to Shrek? :O

Imagine if Monsters Inc. won the award. That would be extraordinary.
