She started sneaking backward toward the room.

"So, where's that dorik girl?" daniel asked. "She's sick. Speaking of sick...." he said, grabbing the advil and heading back to the room.

She sat down on the bed.

He put the advil down on his dresser and sat down next to her.

"Hey," she muttered.

"The sun is gonna keep shining for a full month...." he mumbled.

"Guess I won't be around here for very long..." She frowned.

"Maybe you could just hide the whole time..." he said softly.

"Where?" she asked.

"Here......i guess...." he muttered, laying down, trying to think fo a plan.

She shook her head. "I don't want to do that."

"Then we gotta think of something...." he said, getting up and pacing around the room.

She sighed. Unless she did hide, or they told his father and hoped he let her stay, there was nothing to do.

"I'm gonna go take a shower...." he said, grabbing a towel and locking the bathroom door behind him.

She watched him go, then flopped down on the bed.
