She fell into a light sleep.

He didn't have any dreams. Hm, odd....

She slept well in his arms, but didn't have any dreams.

He woke up to the pleasent sound of birds outside his window. Hm...wait birds? What? He hand't heard birds since he was a baby...this was....weird...

She was still asleep. She breathed quietly.

He shook Ellie awake, the birds kept getting louder. "Hey, am i going crazy or do you hear birds too?"

"Uh, yeah, I do..." she said groggily, nodding.

His dad ran towards chases room, wuickly opening the door. "CHASE! BIRDS! do you hear them too?" he asked. Chase groaned and yawned a little. "Yea, you're not crazy..now leave." he warned,

She sat up. "I don't see what the big deal is..."

His dad left, and chase facepalmed. "When was the last time you heard birds?" He asked, seeing sun...sun? "Why is the sun out.....w-what's going on?" he asked, confused.

She was still half asleep.
(Okay wait so the sun doesn't shine in this area which is why there are no birds. Are the any other life forms?) -
(Yea, weird plants and animals, sun rarely shines.)
"Oh great, now it's gonna look like a glitter bomb exploded onto everyone..." he complained, loud enough for her to hear. -
(Oh, okay. And I'm guessing they sparkle?)
She yawned, still listening to the birds. -
(Yea, and doriks don't. She doesn't know that connellys sparkle yet.)
"Hey. ELLIE. Are you awake?" he asked, shaking her shoulder. "We got a problem." -
(Oh well then he's just fabulous.)
"Yes, I am. The sun's a little weird, and the birds are fun, but I don't see what the problem is other than that..."
