The way an RP works is that it's sorta like a soap but something different. (That probably doesn't make sense. :T) You use different characters instead of normal ones, like in a soap. Soaps have normal humans, RPs have sorta like mythical animals or immortal creatures. But RPs (the way I do them) have more than 2 characters. It works like this: You're on one account but more than one character is on that account. Here's an example.
No! I won't give it to you!
Red: Oh, then let me take it from you, myself! *flies quickly towards her, grabbing the gem*
No! *dashes to him, attempting to grab the gem back*
And so on. Do you get it now? -
I think so.

Can't help but say one thing, it doesn't matter what your character is in either a soap or an RP. It could be a human, immortal, an animal, whatever. It doesn't matter al long as you're creative. ^.^

*moans sensually*
*thrusts it in harder* -
No. Soaps can range from normal humans to animals to magic and stuff. It depends on the plot. RPs are like this:
*grabs Nate's hand as a fireball passes by*
*runs off*
And Soaps are like this, in third person:
Dark grabbed Nate's hand, ducking as a fireball flew past their heads, missing by a mere inch. The mage hissed and threw another. She ran off with him, trying to avoid the fireballs as they went. -
Alright. Good.
Do you have any OCs? (other characters)
I'll get on one of my OCs if it makes the RP better.
Anyways, do you have a plot? -
OC= Original character.
-
You can do the plot
Jorge: No i want to
Be polite and let her. -
I know, I know. First and third person, I know about that, Miss Jillian. But I always think of soaps always having mortal characters, for I mostly see soaps with only human beings in it.
-
That's just people's preferences.
-
Ashley: I was close. -_-
Good, Nate. You got it already.
I'll get one of my OCs. -
Ok
Jorge: Fine. *crosses arms* -
Not close enough. :P
But I'll leave you alone now. xP -
Dark. My name scared the crap out of me. I see.
-
Alright. Here's the plot.
A young teenage boy named ____ (You can pick the boy's name, Nate. If you don't want to be the boy, I'll go ahead and pick his name.) lives in a small town called Cherrygrove. Cherrygrove is right at the border of a forest known as Redwood. ____ goes to play outside one day and wanders into the Redwood forest. He is lost, and doesn't know where to go next. Then he sees a flowing river, but little does he know that it's a clan's territory when he hops over the river. He passes out from shock. When he wakes up, he is in a strange room he's never seen before, and he's surrounded by cats. "We are warrior cats." The leader of the clan says to the boy, and is invited to stay with the clan and be adopted by the cats. He makes friends with the deputy of the clan, Amberheart. ____ is taught by Amberheart the ways of the warrior cats. ____ now knows alot about the warrior cat culture and is converted to believe in a different type of religon. It is called Starclan, the heavens of the warrior cats. Then ____ and the clan live happily ever after (I dunno xD). The End.
Is that good enough?
(It's Br0wnies', BTW)
