Clarisse: I drew out a plan for the chariot, adding details when suggested. "I'm not sure if the weight of the chariot will be able to be pulled by only two horses. And we can't forget the driver or the fighter, either."
-
"We can make it lighter by making it from aluminium, it's lighter than steel and, if you use it right, stronger as well. So then it can hold all necessities and also have extra capacity for deadly weapons" I say, looking at the plans
-
I laid down in the grass outside the cabin, staring at the sky and thinking.
(Liz, what does your profile pic say? I can't see it.) -
("Percabeth in Tartarus? I hate Riordan for this.")
Clarisse: "That's a good idea. You know how to do that?"
I strayed to the back of the cabin, watching my hands "burn". The flames danced across my fingertips. "Thank you, whoever sent me this gift." I whispered.
"You're welcome," a gruff voice replied. "Only one of my sons has that gift, but he hasn't used it since..." The man shook his head. "You'll meet him soon, girl. Although I should say that he's already spoken for, in a way."
I stood up, confused. "Excuse me, but...who are you?" -
"Mostly, yes. It'll take a few hours since it has to be done in layers, or else it'll bend or crack."
-
I was about to fall asleep when the air shimmered and an elegant, young goddess stood in front of me. I looked at her through slitted eyes. "Artemis."
She nodded, "Dusk. How is Camp?"
I snorted, "Oh, lovely. I've been volunteered for a quest. Can't wait to go. Some girl named Zair hates me, but, y'know, that's normal." -
Clarisse: I nodded my head, frowning. "This is gonna take a while." I muttered. I cleared my throat, standing up. "Zair, you are in charge of making sure the chariot frame is made correctly. I'll see to it that the rest of everything is taken care of." I raised Maimer and shouted, "Ares!"
-
"I'll make sure it's stronger than the steel the others use" I answered and drew a rough frame for others to work from. I found a lot of aluminium and brought it back to get started
