I quickly pulled on clean pair of jeans a t-shirt, then ran to the pavilion. Why didn't my siblings wake me up? Why would they leave me behind? "oh, sorry!" I waved "sorry" to the girl behind me, and sat down, panting, next to Alexa, one of my half-sisters.

I rolled my eyes at Sapphire's entrance. I could control a little bit of wind at a time, but it's getting better. Honestly, all this business with the gods blessing each other's children was really confusing. In truth, I was a bit disappointed when my mother, Demeter, claimed me.

Many of the new arrivals in the hall gaped at me. I smiled smugly. There wasn't much I could be proud of, my mother going off the deep-end when she discovered my father was Zeus. Drinking, doing drugs... not a pretty sight. -

I nearly choked on my Fruit Loops when I saw...him. Caleb Welsh, son of Hephaestus. He was awesome. Practically the only guy at camp who has caught my eye since I got here, almost ten years ago. -

Scarred For Life NewbieI rolled my eyes as the Hephaestus cabin appeared at the table. Their father was brutally made fun of at Olympus, so they tried to make up for it by acting all "swag" and stuff. It just made them look stupider... at least, I thought so. I noticed some Aphrodite girls swooning... at least I knew everyone agreed with me about how they were hopelessly shallow.
