  Metal is just screaming, right? Or is that Screamo? And power metal? What's the difference?
  
  Is it seriously enjoyable to sit down and listen to that genre of music? I think I'll give it a try...

  I am a fan of Lamb of God and System of a Down. Avenged Sevenfold not so much, but they're good too.
  
  @Leah- There are alot of forms of metal that use screaming. But screamo is something different. There are alot of different kinds of metal where screaming isn't used, power metal usually being one of them. Power metal is marked by flashy, intricate guitar work, whereas the style you're thinking of is closer to death metal, which is marked by screaming or growling vocals and breakneck tempos.

  @Leah find me when we're both online, I probably have a couple of 'tamer' metal songs that metalheads wouldn't really consider metal, but fits in the spectrum enough to be called it. It sounds really nice xD
  
  I'll look them up sometimes. I'm more of a Nu metal person.
