If pop songs are like nursery rhymes, that means we are supposed to grow out of them, right? Pop songs have lost all of their meaning. The best pop music was made 2000-2010.
Please note this is my opinion, which I am entitled to, as well as freedom of speech. -
I fing that the best pop songs were made between 1990-2007.
After that, it was all drugs, sex and partying. Adele and Foster The People are the only radio-friendly artists that I really respect. -

Thats basically the only american pop song i like. And thats just because its funny. :3 -
So true Nikki. I like foster the people, the funny thing is if you go on a lyrics video for their song "Pumped up kicks" about gang shooting, people are "shocked" about the lyrics.
Basically, if a song has a catchy beat it's Top 40, lyrics don't even matter anymore when it comes to pop. -__-
