I consider my music taste to be very flexible and diverse, however you want to describe it. I enjoy classical music, intricate piano and guitar melodies and pieces of music, and things similar to that, but I also enjoy songs that you could say are the opposite of what I just described. Compare some of Chopin's work to songs like Vampires Will Never Hurt You, Headfirst For Halos, Early Sunsets Over Monroeville, Demolition Lovers, or Our Lady of Sorrows from My Chemical Romances' 2002 studio album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. It has some complex guitar solos with some screaming, raspy singing, and broken notes. It's what you may describe as more "intense", I guess. I also enjoy twenty one pilots which have their own kind of unique genre.

I'm sort of like that too. I really love classical music and would be perfectly fine with just listening to Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, etc. for hours on end. But I also love jazzy/ragtime sort of songs (technically those are classical too, just a different kind), and I like "modern" songs as well, that are really popular and everyone knows. I also like those rappy kind of songs with a really nice beat that get you pumped up, and the slow, romantic kind of songs that help you sleep at night. And of course, I absolutely adore the HTTYD soundtracks and I play them all just about every day. I'm not really into bands like most people, but I would say I have a decently eclectic taste in music.

I'm not really into modern hip hop or pop. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me.
