They were like my favorite American band ever, I even got my dad into them, then he says he read on yahoo that they broke up. :( And I never got to see them in concert. FML

tons of bands break up and it's sad :'( they're all really good too. and they're never quite as good when they do solo stuff

I used to like the White Stripes, but I never found out that they broke up until now, damn that sucks, they were epic. But I wonder why they broke up?
