tongue ExperiencedOn a more positive note, the trend recently seems to be that bands like Suicide Silence or Bring me the Horizon can gain a rather large following with almost no support from radio. This is partly because of the Internet, but I think it's more the long and endless state of stagnation that mainstream rock and metal are in. Fans are finding that the truly innovative original acts aren't the ones getting airplay, and I think the trend of extreme crust metal bands gaining droves of fans without the support of commercial entities will continue.

I think mainstream pop, but then again, even if it's not popular (which is fine by me!) I'll always have the music I'll usually like.
