My favourite singer is Lorde....she's just unique. First and foremost thing to be admired about her is her voice, that thrilling, shrill voice. It sends some heartfelt vibes, really. Second is her persona. She isn't the one who follows the so called 'hot trends', she makes trends. She doesn't show excessive cleavage, dye her hair blonde, etc. etc. like other celebrities do because she doesn't like it, and thinks that can't bring her fame. She is a strong girl.
Favourite rapper: Eminem was, Eminem is, Eminem will be. His attitude, his love for rap, his life story, his struggle, his strength; all these made me his follower. He faced lots of struggle, struggles of rare kinds, struggles with lots of pain, still, that boy managed to hold on. He says we have to survive, no matter what happens. We have to hold on, we can't die out. His struggle can be felt in his songs. He's an inspiration and, well, I salute him.
Favourite band: I have two.
1.Coldplay: They are sober, still they churn out magic. Their songs are so heartfelt, so realistic, and even if the song is about misery, they give some hope and happiness. Their songs taught me how to be happy even in the saddest of situations, and how to be happy from the smallest of things. And their music videos, well, they are beautiful works of art.
Daft Punk: I haven't heard of their songs much but whatever I have heard, has surely made me happy. I love their beats and their apparels. They remain anonymous! Really cool.... -
Favorite singer: Avril Lavigne. Her voice is unique like her personality. Her punk pop attitude really got me interested in rock. She also isn't afraid to be herself, which is a rolemodel for me.
Favorite rapper- Is actually the band Hollywood Undead. Their songs are catchy and fun to annoy people I hate with. My friends loved them after I introduced them! You see, their song Undead is about all the haters, and how the band doesn't want to deal with them anymore. Dead Bite is a fun, creepy song detacaited, once again, to the haters. Bullet is about killing yourself, though it has a upbeat rythem.
Favorite band- ooh..tough..So I'll go with Sleepng With Sirens. One of my favorite screamo bands, but they all have lyrics and a meaning, screaming is just a little add on for some more taste. All songs are relatable, thought out, and the meaning is always deep. -
Favorite Singer: Bjork. She's one of the most innovative and creative musicians I've found. You really can't box her in and say she's just an electronic artist, because she always pushes genres and ends up making something artistic and interesting. I love how she combines nature and technology in her work, and her last album combined music and science awesomely. Just, yeah. She's good.
Favorite Rapper: I guess I'm not really qualified to say if a rapper is good or not, since I don't listen to a lot of rap, but I like Spose. He's different and a lot of his less popular songs are pretty good in my opinion.
Favorite Band: The White Stripes. Not much to say here, other than I see them as one of the most talented modern rock bands. It's a shame they broke up, but eh Jack's still making music apparently. -
Favorite Singer: I sadly forgot what her name was. But, she made nice soft music. I believe she uses her real voice and doesnt use that hyperactive autotune. I dont think she does songs anymore though.
Favorite Rapper: Macklemore. I liked how he made a controversial song called "My Love" or sometjing like that. Its like it spreads awareness of Homosexuality and the struggles of everyday life of them and how they found out they were Gay, Lesbian, or Bi. Just watch the music video.
Favorite Band: Fall Out Boy. I just like there songs are so... Good. I cant describe them. -
Favorite singer: Damien Rice. Or Suzanne Vega, maybe. Idk. I just grew up listening to both of them.
Favorite band: Onerepublic. Uhh I don't think I should post why. -
I like Onerepublic....There was one song, Counting Stars or something, which was really beautiful.
Fallout boy...well their music is nice....There was one song 'My songs knew what you did in the dark', that was nice.
I like Bjork, she's innovative and she relates so much with the ordinary folks. -
