To be fair, Taylor's older stuff could be considered modern country, back before she became a Hollywood pop star.
Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Allen Coe, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney.
I'm sure there's more, but to be honest most of this is what I listened to when I was younger. I don't listen to much country music these days unless my parents are playing it. x3 I like the classics the best, though. I don't listen to any of the new stuff. xD
