I agree with 5thMarauder in the sense that Kristen Stewart did a suckish job. I'm not a big fan of Robert Pattinson, either. As for Taylor Lautner, I'm not sure. The books were defenitely better.
-
I hated it all, but the books were less painful.
-
Whoa. Its so funny when somebody says K-Stew is awful as Bella.
-
The books are poorly constructed with absolutely no depth to them. The only audience they appeal to is teenage girls. They're written to apply to teen angst and show how a poorly written story line, shallow characters, and teenage drama can be blown way out of proportion in modern society.
I actually tried to read the books. They were physically painful.
The movies are the exact same. Just add in bad acting and shirtless celebrities and you come out with the exact same formula. -
Ive read all of the books and i can tell you, they f---ed up the fourth movie and i havent even seen it yet... Meyer's writing is the same in all her books..

jaspers the hot one

^Wow...I cannot believe you just said that. -_-'

-_- I was making a joke when I said "People are jealous of Jacob's hotness, so that's why they hate it". How do people not get that? -_-"
-
It's hard to detect if people are joking or not over the internet.
As for the actual topic, I can't believe how much hate the infamous Twilight has. I'm not a fan of it, to be honest, but the books were okay. More emotional than the movies. The acting sucked big time. -
Have you ever met a Twilight fan who wasn't a teenage girl?
I haven't. -
SilverBlueMoon NoviceI'm not much of a fan, actually. I've always found something rather wrong with the series. I did read it, however, so that I knew what I was talking about when I passed judgement.(If you like it, I recomend that you skip over italized part of this post.)
I mean, Bella got married at eighteen and then had a baby. Okay, sure. Some people do that, although I don't agree with them. But she fell for somebody who told her that he was a murderer repetedly, and proclaimed that he wanted her blood more than anyone else's. What person doesn't have enough sense of self-preservation to run away from that? And then there was the whole Jacob/Renesemee thing. Seriously? He fell in love with a newborn baby?
From a girl whose never had a boyfriend, I found it infuriating how Bella's life seemed to revolve around two boys. Could she really not survive without a guy by her side? I've survived all of my life without a boy. (but then again, that might just be my jealosy speaking.) -
@Nakita:Cougars. That weird lady that got basically a poster tattoed on her back.
