"Heh heh," she said, "Thanks,"
But then, she caught his gaze, and stared at his icy blue eyes, like a storm was brewing inside, they seemed to get bigger, she was lost in the pale blue sky of his world, going under...
And he was lost in her dark brown eyes, under the thickness of honey and sweetness, going deep under the dark color, in to a world so far away...
They were lost in eachother's eyes.
"You're so beautiful," he breathed after a while.
She said nothing, still lost in his eyes.
He sat up, and looked at her face, she was pretty, the way her chin rounded so beautifully, the way her curly hair rested on her shoulder, her tender honey brown eyes, she was beautiful alright, in her own way and deep inside.
Then, he said, "Wanna hear a story?"
"Um, sure," she sounded surprised, so suddenly he was changing the subject,"
"Alright," he said, "Once upon a time, a girl lived with her parents in a tower far away from any village or town, deep in a forest. She longed to be in love and wanted a man to take her and scoop her away to a lifetime of happiness.
Her parents said she could do what she wanted, but they didn't know the way to any town or village, as far as they knew, they were in the middle of nowhere.
Days passed and she got more and more bored of waiting, when suddenly a dragon flew by their tower once and smashed on to the roof, it collapsed under the dragon's wieght and the whole building plummeted to the ground, the parents died but the girl was still alive, somewhere in the rubble, and bricks and dust of the tower, she screamed for help and cried and yelled.
Fortunatley, a man was riding his horse near by somewhere in the forest, heard her voice and went to save her, he dug through the rubble for a long time but was determined to get the poor girl out.
When he did, she was bruised badly, and both of her legs had broken severly, so she couldn't walk, and somehow, she had gone blind.
So now she was blind and disabled, he didn't know what to do with her so he took her to his cottage far away in a field where near by cows graze. He nursed her until she was fit to move around, but needed a wheel chair because her legs had gone.
She wasn't especially pretty, but the way she delicatly sat quiet there, in her own corner, and though she couldn't see, she could hear, and listened to the man as he told her stories.
Sometimes when he had visitors, they'd sneer at the girl and say she was useless, but he didn't see it that way. One day he decided to marry her, but she cried and said that she was horrible and ugly, and had no use to him that she couldn't walk or see, but he said that she was beautiful on the inside, and that was what mattered, she could hear him and talk to him, she gave him advice and she was there for him when he needed her, she was a good friend to him and very faithful. So the two got married, and everybody saw that this was an example that true beauty comes from the inside, and no matter what you look like, you could be the most important person in the world, but the ugliest. And people started to like the girl more and more each day, and never sneered at her when she rode by in her wheel chair. Because she was blind, she couldn't see what the man looked like, but she was deeply in love with him and he mattered to her more than anything else." he paused, then said, "And they lived happily ever after,"
"Wow," Adamma breathed, "Did you make that up?"
"Yeah," he said, "Now, actually,"
"That was great, it made me feel so much better,"
"Good," he said, and before she knew it, he hugged her.
She immediatly felt a sensation bursting in her heart, he was warm, just the right temprature, the soup, blankets and fire had warmed him, his skin was soft and moist, she rubbed her cheek against his neck. He rocked her gently in his arms.
This was ecstasy, she could stay there all day, just with him, sitting there, in each others arms...
She looked up at him through her shiny honey brown eyes, and tears trickled down her cheeks.
"You make me so happy!" she sobbed, "I...I..."
"Ssshhh," he whispered softly in her ear, "It's ok, it's fine, calm down,"
She calmed down quick enough and rested her head against his shoulder, and closed her eyes.
Then, he gave her a kiss on the cheek. -

Chapter Four
She was so stunned by what happenned, so shocked, so dumbfounded, yet, her heart lept with joy.
He had kissed her so softly, his soft lips touching her cheek felt like a flower tickling her skin, with her eyes closed.
"Did you just...?"
"Heh heh," he said shakily, "Sorry if you didn't like it,"
Didn't like it? What was he talking about? How could he say that?! It was the most beautiful thing she had ever experienced!
"Of course not!" she beamed and touched her cheek to make sure it was all real, "I liked it," she whispered softly, her eyes set on him, "I loved it, Pritam, I...I... I've never been kissed before, even on the cheek, I..."
"Ssshh," he whispered to her, he bent closer and their faces were only centimetres apart, the tips of their noses touching, he put a finger to her lip and said, "It's okay,"
They only smiled at eachother warmly for what seemed like a long time, like centuries of happiness and sitting together... All came to an end.
"You know," Pritam whispered in to her ears as he stroked her hands gently, "The word Pritam means lover,"
"And Adamma means Beatuiful,"
"Well then," he said with a surprise, "Adamma the beautiful marries Pritam the lover. What a match,"
She smiled warmly, she could just sit here for all day, except...
"Adamma," he said.
She looked up at him, her nose touching his chin, her face buried in his neck, "Yes?"
"I've got to go,"
"What? Why!"
"I've been here for two hours, my aunt will be worried sick and..." he gulped, "I haven't brought her back coffee beans and-"
"Oh, I'll give you some coffee!" she cried and ran to the kitchen, there was a jar full of it and she poured half in to a small container she had found in a closet.
She came back to Pritam, "Well it may not be what she wants but at least you brought her something. Plus, the rain's stopped,"
"Well that's good," he said quietly, looking down at the floor, "I wish I could stay, you don't know how much it aches me to leave,"
"I know," she whispered softly, hugging him, "I wish we could be together... Forever,"
"Thank you, beautiful," he said with a smile, and gave her another kiss on the cheek.
She flushed but tried not to faint, "Your welcome, I'd like to give you the whole thing but then my family would be cross, do you want me to walk you home?"
"No," he said shyly, "It's Ok, I think my aunt will still be cross but then be alright if I've brought back coffee, she can't blame me for not coming so early when I've been through a storm,"
"Yeah," she said, "But be careful, Pritam," and she hugged him hard, they stayed like that for a full minute, "Be careful,"
***
Pritam went home, it may have been winter but he felt like it was in the middle of the spring, the sky seemed like a nice pale blue with a few clouds and the sun was shining a lovely golden light, the flowers bloomed with every color, red, pink, purple, blue... all Irises, roses, sun flowers, daisies, tulips, so much more... The wind that swept by was a cool breeze and not sharp and icy, he felt warm. He felt ecstasy he hadn't felt in a long time. He almost felt like skipping with joy.
But then, thoughts of Adamma returned and he wanted to go back in and sit with her, he missed her already and his heart was breaking, he felt like he might collapse any moment, he was in love now, and needed to be with his lover, the beautiful girl he knew needs him, the princess waiting in the tower for her prince.
He felt gloomy as he walked all the way down, he felt numb and he had a head ache, Adamma would have given him more soup, draped him in a blanket and rubbed his forehead, whispering softly in his ear that she loved him and everything was alright.
When he reached home, his aunt was very angry with him indeed, he shouted and made a fuss and punched him on the arm, but he didn't care, all he cared about was Adamma, the girl that his world revolved around, his aunt could cuff him and spank him and he wouldn't care, all he did was think about her all day, he didn't sit and read, he didn't watch TV, he just thought of her and all the things they wanted to do together.
Later on, after his aunt calmed down, she came in to his room to talk.
"Y'know, they've invited us to a wedding," she said.
"Who has?"
"Ebony's brother's gettin' married, and they invited us to come,"
"Oh wow, when?"
"Strangely, on Valentine's day, I think it's wierd but apprently they're fine with it,"
"Cool,"
"And maybe you'd want to bring your girl friend along, at least, that's what I'm gussin',"
"Uh... Yeah, but I don't think we're girl friend and boy friend yet,"
"Oh? Why not?"
"I don't know, we love eachother but I don't know if we're ready for that stage or not,"
"Well, if you want to ask her, you can," she said and marched off, closing the door behind her. -
The next day, he called Adamma and told her about the wedding.
"Cool!" she'd said, "I'd love to come, anything for you,"
He was overcome with joy that he asked her if she wanted to take a stroll through the park, she said she'd have to ask her parents, and they said it was Ok, but that they should include Ebony, he knew about what Adamma and Pritam were doing and wanted to get in the way because he and Pritam had fighted earlier and this was a great way to get back at him.
All day he moaned on purpose and pissed them off and complained and groped, the two tried to ignore him but it just wasn't possible, he knew this and was grinning evilly when they weren't looking.
"Why is he being so horrible?" asked Adamma, "Why can't he just enjoy this?"
"Because we faught and he wants to make this bad for me,"
"I wish he'd leave us alone,"
"Well maybe tomorrow we can meet up somewhere but not ask anybody,"
"Where will we go?"
"Here again, but at night. Me and you,"
"Wow," she said, a walk through the park at night? She couldn't resist! "I'd love to, what time?"
"When would you like?"
"Around 10 PM would be good,"
"10 PM it is then," he said with a smile, and just then, Ebony came back with a new complaint about the toilets.

Adamma was eating lunch with her parents and grandparents when her father asked her about Pritam.
"I heard you let him in because he was caught up in the middle of a storm," he said.
"Yeah, I decided to help him, sorry about the coffee,"
"It's fine, he really needed it anyway,"
"Yeah, I was worried about him,"
"But, next time, I want you to be more careful about who you're letting in, Ok?"
"Alright dad, I promise,"
But then she snuck out of the house after dinner and crossed the street to the park.
For a moment, she couldn't see him, then he appeared, he was sitting under a tree and had risen when he saw her.
"Hi," he smiled, "Glad you came,"
"Hi," she grinned, "It's nice to see you,"
She had gone out of her way and wore her newest clothes, even cleaned herself up and put some make up on, just for him.
He had done the same and jelled his hair, which shone under the moonlight, he was dressed all in black.
They held hands and walked together. Just smiling, not saying anything, just happy to be out and happy to be together, that ecstasy returning, the happiness building inside.

The next day was the wedding.
Adamma wore a pink dress with sequins all along the chest, with short sleeves, it was very thin but you couldn't see under and it trailed along behind her as she walked. -
Pritam was wearing a tuxedo and had a rose tucked under it.
"You look beautiful," he said when he greeted her in the car.
"Thanks," she said, "You look good too,"
He smiled.
When they reached the wedding area, everything was pink and red for Valentine's Day, there were red and pink flowers all over the chairs draped in red and pink velvet, and the plates were rimmed with red, the decorations were red and pink and the cake had extra pink and red all over it.
"Wow," they breathed, "This is amazing!"
Zai, Adamma's sister in law, came over.
"So I heard you two have been getting along well," she said. -
beautful again :D
