"You both have targets on your heads!" Cleverly rubbed his temples like Chester naivety was giving him a migraine.
No because Jayden wasn't out to his parents yet so he tried to keep it veeeeery on the down low. -
‘Well, we’re both fine, so it’s not a problem,’ Chester said, exhaling. ‘I-It’s fine, the kingdom can’t be that homophobic-‘
Right right right so is he out now or would the paper be outing him? -
Cleverly sighed. "Not just that, but I'm sure Jayden's kingdom would pay quite the ransom to get him back if he got attacked. Same with you. Ergo, lots of people might have that idea in their heads."
Paper would be outing him but like, most people kiiiinda knew. -
‘We’ll bring a guard out next time, okay?’ Chester snapped, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
Okok sounds good lol. -
Cleverly nodded. "And tell us where you're going?" He insisted.

‘Fine, yes, whatever,’ Chester huffed, folding the newspaper. ‘Anything else?’

Cleverly thought for a moment. "Keep your romantic affairs from making you biased in your treaty decisions." He said before walking off.
Jayden woke up groggily, looking over to his side and wondering where Chester was. -
Chester sighed, rubbing his face with his hands. He slipped back into his room, looking at Jayden. ‘Hey, love.’

Jayden beamed the second he saw Chester. "Hey." He quickly noticed his facial expression. "What's wrong?"

Chester sighed. He sat down on the edge of the bed and handed him the paper.

Jayden sat next to him, reading it. "Holy conspiracy theories." He muttered. "First off, I didn't turn you gay, I'd have to be much prettier to do that, second off, was it really that easy to tell I'm gay?" He leaned into Chester slightly, sighing.

‘You’re beautiful enough to turn a homophobic man gay, love. And yeah, it was pretty obvious,’ Chester said softly, pulling him close and kissing the top of his head. ‘As much as I’d like to assassinate whoever wrote that, we’re late to breakfast.’

Jayden grumbled, standing up. "I'm not that pretty!" He purposely ignored how obvious it was to tell he was gay. That was a worry for future him, for after he had breakfast.

Chester gave a small smile, wrapping an arm around his waist. ‘You are. Go get dressed, I’ll meet you at the dining hall.’
(Do we wanna have it so Benji and Beatrice (the b----y Bs) come at breakfast?) -
Jayden huffed, but nodded. "See you there!" He said before going into his room.
(Beatrice can come whenever, but it'd make more sense for Benji to come more in the afternoon/evening ish because of the cARRiaGe lol. Also that's my favorite nickname 100/10)
