Chester laughed, snuggling closer. Maeve popped into the room. ‘WHERE ARE MY SHOES?!’
(I would say slay but like that’s not slay (IKR-)) -
"How would I know?" Jayden laughed. He was a very bad liar when he was dying of laughter.
(FRRR (LMFAOOO OOP-)) -
Maeve glared. ‘You’re lying! Tell me where they are!’
‘Why, you’ve got shoes on right now.’
‘None of your business!’ -
"I'll never tell you!"

‘Yeah, give us a good reason,’ Chester chuckled.
Maeve huffed. ‘I have a date tonight!’
Chester paused. ‘With Lavender?’
‘Yeah.’
Big-brother mode was activated. Chester stood up and pulled the shoes out from under the bed. ‘What we thinking? Dress? Pants? Flowers?’ -
(Not the big brother mode helppppp xD)
"Some shoes would be nice, to start." Maeve grabbed some new black shoes. "And a suit."
Jayden was tempted to jokingly complain about how Chester ruined the prank, but decided against it. -
(Am I wrong tho- lmfao)
‘Alright. Do you have one? Do you need any help?’ Chester asked. -
(...No)
"I have one. I just need to borrow a belt." -
Chester walked over to his closet and opened it. He pulled out a black belt and threw it at Maeve. ‘Think that’ll do?’

Maeve nodded. "Yeah. Thank you." She grabbed the belt and the shoes and walked out.

Chester smiled and sat back down on the bed. He glanced at Jayden. ‘Sorry for ruining the prank.’

Jayd chuckled. "It's fine, I'd do the same."

Chester smiled and lay back down, snuggling close. ‘She never tells me when she has a date.’

Jayden laughed. "Weird. And you said something about never meeting Lavender before, right?"

‘Yeah,’ Chester said, pulling him close. ‘She’s probably just worried I’ll embarrass her.’ He hoped it was that, or that Maeve liked her privacy.
