Jayden frowned, noticing him avoiding his gaze. He looked up at Maeve, silently asking if she knew anything about it.

Maeve shrugged. Chester continued eating silently.

Jayden sighed, finishing his food.

Cleverly walked back into the room, shooting a glare at Jayden.

Jayden practically shrunk. What'd I do?

Cleverly sat back down and continued eating. Chester glanced at Jayden, finishing his food. ‘C’mon, lets go back to my room,’ he said, gently taking his hands and helping him up.

Jayd nodded, smiling weakly as he stood up.

Chester kissed his forehead, trying to convince himself Jayden would never betray him. He lead him out of the dining room.

Jayd followed, still trying to figure out what he did to make Chester upset and for Cleverly to hate him.

Chester opened the door to his bedroom for him, then once he was inside, sat on the bed. ‘Are you.. sure our relationship is, y’know, what you want?’ he asked quietly, wincing at how it was phrased. ‘I mean, I 100% want you, and I want to be your boyfriend, but, uh, yeah.’

Jayd paused. Was that what they were talking about? Why would Chester be focused on that? Unless...
"I just want what you want." Jayden murmured, sitting next to him. "I want to be with you, but please, please don't feel like you're being pressured into it or anything." -
‘Okay,’ Chester said, wrapping his arms around Jayden and pulling him close. ‘I want to be your boyfriend. I haven’t been pressured into anything, I promise. Cleverly was just being an ass.’

Jayden leaned into him. "What'd he say?" He mumbled.

‘Just a bunch of s--- about you using me,’ Chester said dismissively, trying not to think about it.

Jayd frowned. "What?" He scooted himself closer to Chester. "I would never."
(I'm gonna go to bed now. I'll try to be online more in the morning/early afternoon but I doubt I will more than I usually am so if I don't see you, I'll see you in 2 days!)
