Maeve smirked. Cleverly walked in, noticing how snuggled up the two were.

Chester glanced towards Cleverly. He and his adviser’s relationship was strictly work-related, so he figured he wouldn’t be too worked up about Jayden.

Cleverly just raised an eyebrow before sitting a few feet away from all of them.
"Who's he?" Jayden asked quietly. -
‘My adviser,’ Chester murmured back, still holding him close. ‘Cleverly. He’s more boring than me.’

"Oh. Fuuuuun."

Chester chuckled. ‘I’m not that boring,’ he said. ‘He’s the one who was at the door this morning. I’m pretty sure he saw you in my bed.’

Jayden blushed. "Oh god..."
"I'm sorry, WHAT?" Maeve exclaimed. "Explanation?- wait no, I don't need one please don't give me one-" -
Chester blushed. ‘I didn’t mean it like that! We were just cuddling!’ he said, very flustered. ‘Nothing else!’

Maeve plugged her fingers in her ears the second he opened his mouth. "LALALA CANT HEAR YOU!"

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s shoulder, flustered. ‘Please shut up-‘

Jayden was too flustered to say anything. He just sat there in embarrassment.

Chester kissed his cheek. ‘She’s just being a dumb---.’

Jayd looked down at his shoes. "I-I know."

Chester blushed. Their food was delivered by the stubby chef. ‘Thanks, Patton,’ Chester mumbled.

Jayden took his food. "Thank you sir." He said quietly. Maeve eventually unplugged her ears.
