Chester smiled wider and walked to the door. He walked out and shut the door softly. He sighed lovingly as he thought about Jayden. And walked to his room.

Jayd sat on his bed, thinking about what just happened. Was Chester trying to make a move? If so, it worked, because now Jayden had butterflies in his stomach.

Chester walked to his office, smiling dreamily to himself as he thought back to Jayden. He sat down at his desk and focused on his work. -

Jayden tried to stop thinking about Chester, which only made him think about him even more.
Maeve appeared in his room, causing him to scream in surprise. "You can't just show up like that! You have to knock!"
Maeve huffed and disappeared. He heard a knock on his door immediately after. "Ugh, fine, come in Maeve." -
(Oki cool lmao)
Maeve jumped inside. ‘What happened? I saw him leaving your room. And why were you mad at each other? And what the hell did you mean, you’re trying to impress Chester!? I need an explanation!’ -
(yeah lol. Who do you want to start?)
Jayden nodded, sighing softly. "Ok, ok. I'll tell you everything, just stop yelling for a second, deal?" -
(Uhhhh idk lol)
Maeve immediately went quiet. She jumped onto Jayden’s bed and crossed her legs. -
Jayd sighed, running his hand through his hair and making it fluffier in the process which totally isn't authorcore and my hair would totally be curly and cute if I didn't RUN MY HAND THROUGH IT ALL THE TIME as like a tic or stim or something.
"Me and Chester were in his room, and it was late, and I realized I didn't know my way back to my room, so I asked if I could stay in his room for the night. He said yes, so I slept on his bed with him. I woke up and he moved to sleep on the floor because he was uncomfortable sleeping with me, and wouldn't even look me in the eye." Jayden wasn't quite sure why that was such a problem for him. It probably had something to do with feeling forgotten, or tossed out like a piece of trash. "So I thought- and this is a very stupid plan, I'm very aware- ok then, if he's not even going to look at me, I'll just make myself beautiful so he regrets it. Does any of that make sense?" -
Shh we love fluffy hair though- and also same but I’m always adjusting my fringe so like you’re not alone lol.
Maeve raised her eyebrows, not talking for a moment. ‘Woah. Yeah, it makes sense. That’s a lot, though,’ she said, thinking for a moment. ‘So you like him? As in, like-like? As in massively in love?’ she asked, smirking. -

Jayden didn't answer, figuring if Maeve had to ask in that phrasing, it was very obvious. -

Maeve grinned. ‘So you do!’ She started bouncing up and down in excitement. ‘Does he like you back? I don’t think he’s gay- I mean, he says he’s not gay but he wears earrings which either a homophobic man or a gay man does and there’s no in between (bc Lucas says so) and I don’t think he’s homophobic…’ -
ik but it was disgustingly long and gross lol I only kept it after comicon because I didn't know what I wanted to change it to
Woah Maeve knows who I am? Jayden chuckled. "I'll ask him if he's homophobic and then we'll find out." -

Yes she does. Maeve grinned. ‘Yes, go do that!’ she said happily. ‘I’ll go look in his diary.’ -

"Oh my god, fine, I'm going!" Jayden stood up and walked out of his room.
