"Please, just don't." He gulps back tears, and stares at me with big brown eyes. I have to look away to fight back my own tears. "Stay. Don't go after them. Its a suicide mission." I force myself to look at him.
"It's my parents, Ryan. I don't have a choice. Am I supposed to leave them there to rot? In a cell they don't belong in?" I pick up my bag, and bend over to lace up my shoes. Leonard took my parents 10 years ago. I had nobody. Ryan saved me, and I owe him my life for that. But, I need to rescue my parents. Its my turn to play hero. -
This wouldnt fit to be in a quiz, it would fit into the forums here in the Library. Its a story, and I dont know about stories in quizzes...

Some people do the stories in a quiz. I just kind of meant if I should continue it or not.

Forget it, I have nothing better to do.
"You know I don't with for them to rot in that cell." He turns to look at me again. Why is he so..jumpy? He turns around to look behind him. "I miss them as much as you do. Don't get me wrong."
"Don't get you wrong? You're trying to tell me to not try and go after them. To let them die! I can't do that, Ryan! They don't even know about what happened to" I can't even say his name. My little brother was 4 when mum and dad were taken to the prison. He only had me. He didn't know what to do. The people told us that they were saving them. That our parents were going to come back to us.
"I think its time. It happened over two years ago. Say his name. Say Lucas." Ryan orders. I look in his deep brown eyes.
"Lucas," I mutter under my breath. "There. Ya happy? You're telling them about Lucas. I'm not telling them that he died." I gulp back tears. I will NOT cry in front of Ryan. I grab my jacket off the back of the chair. He grabs my hand as I try to walk away,
"I'm sorry. About everything. See you when you get back?" He wipes tears from his face as I use my sleeve to do the same. I let him pull me into a hug. When he let's go, I nod, and turn to walk away. -
I walk around the corner, out of sight. As soon as I know he can't see me, I lean against the wall and curl up in a ball on the floor. I rest my head on my arms. Why didn't he want me to go? The risk of me not returning? Or the risk of me coming back injured and empty handed. I run my hands through my hair to calm myself down. I look around, and get up. Nobody saw. Nobody knows that I had to take a break. I open the heavy oak door, and take a deep breath. I haven't smelled wet grass for I don't know how long. I just stand. Nobody's around. Just me.
"Come on, Erin. If you don't bring back mum and dad.. you're not allowed to talk to anybody." I walk down spthe stairs, and stuff my hands down into the pockets. -
I throw my hood up, and begin to walk among them. Normal people. Who haven't seen the tradegies I have. They have normal lives. I'll bet my life they never have to go to some crazed old man to get their parents back. They didn't have their little brother die in their arms. Don't wake up everyday, dreading another day without family. The only human interaction I get is with Ryan, and he hardly counts. They see other humans every day. They don't train every day for hours at a time.
I put on my sunglasses, and start to walk faster. A man is following me. He has blonde hair, green eyes, wrinkly pale skin, and he's older. I walk into an alley and he follows me. I grab my knife out of my bag, and hold it in front of me. Somebody grabs my arm and I turn, ready to stab him.
"WAIT! Erin, please. Its me." My eyes widen in horror as I recognise the man. I pull my arm away in disgust. "I escaped! I was looking for you!" He yells, staring at me.
"Where's Mum?" I demand, looking next to his head.He has one ear.
He hhesitates. "Your mother is back at that hellhole. She's okay, but I couldn't escape with her. She would've gotten in the way." I've never been very fond of my dad. Especially not now. -
I stare at him in disgust. "So you just left her? Dad, you're supposed to care for her!" I look at him, and can't handle it any longer. I slap him in the face.
He looks at me sadly. "I do care for your mother. Very much, actually. She wanted me to escape, and told me to not return." He's lying. I can tell by the way he refuses to look me in the eye.
"Why would she tell you to never return?" I ask. He ignores the question, and stays silent. "Why the hell would you leave her!" I grab his chin and force him to look at me.
"For Lucas! I came back for my son! Is that wrong? No, it's not! Where is he?" He yells. People turn to look.
"He's dead." I mutter, as I turn around. "And you might as well be, too. I'm never forgiving you for leaving Mum there." I walk away, ignoring his shouting. Mum's going to forgive him, once I save her. She will, and I know it. But, I'll stand by my statement. I'm never forgiving him.
"Hello? You dropped this back there." A guy is standing about a foot behind me, an arm extended. He has my cellphone in one hand, a subway ticket in the other. I grab my phone, and look at his beautiful eyes. "I've been trying to catch up with you, but you were running too fast.." his voice trails off. He flips his hair out of his eyes. "I'm Walker, by the way." I look at him.
"S-sorry. I didn't hear anybody. I'm Erin." I stutter. Dammit! Why am I so awkward? He laughs.
"So where you headed to?" He asks, looking down on me. He's about 4 inches taller than me. I hesitate.
"West Hills. How about you?" I motion to the ticket in his hand. He smiles.
"The very same. Why haven't I seen you around town at all? Are you new in town?" His face drops his goofy smile. -
