~Eva's PoV~
I jumped in surprise as one of them stirred. It was the red-furred one. I watched her carefully as her eyes slowly opened. She groaned, muttering something under her breath before shaking her head and looking around. "Hi!" She turned to face me, looking more than a little confused. "Where are-" "Kish will explain everything as soon as your friends wake up." I interrupted her with a little grin. "I'm Eva." "Chaiki." She replied bluntly. Her gaze turned to the other two cats, concern in her eyes. "They'll be fine," I assured her. "I healed you all up." I smiled at her, but again the gesture was not returned. "They should get up soon." As if one cue, the gray and black cat's eyes popped open and she quickly sat up. "What- oh...right." She glanced at Chaiki, then at me. "Who's that?" "Eva." Chaiki meowed dryly. No explanation there, I guess... I thought. "Everything will be explained soon, I promise." A few minutes of silence later, the last cat woke up, looking a little sore. I nodded to myself and rose to my paws. "I'll be right back." I padded towards the exit/entrance of the little den we were in. "I wouldn't suggest trying to run unless you want someone to try and kill you." I said with one last perky grin, before turning and trotting happily out of the den.
~Kish's PoV~
I rushed into the medical area as soon as Eva reported that they were awake. "Hello," I meowed with a friendly grin. The gray-blue she cat smile back at me, but the other two looked a little wary. "My name is Kish. I'm one of the leaders here." "Mind telling us where 'here' is?" The red cat asked, sounding agitated. I chuckled softly. She obviously had a bit of a temper. "Be patient. I'll explain everything in a moment. First, what are your names?" "I'm Megan." The gray blue cat announced with another smile. "I'm Raven." The silver-and-black cat said in a small voice. "And that's Chaiki." She gestured to the scowling she cat. I nodded. "Nice to meet all of you. Now, if you'll follow me, I'll do my best to answer all your questions." I padded to the exit of the medical area, nodding to Eva on my way out. I heard three sets of paws rise and follow me out.
We were now in the base's center. Its heart. Cats of all shapes, sizes, and colors milled around, talking to each other, grooming, laughing, a few were even swiping at each other playfully. I paused my stride to allow them to take it all in. Raven spoke first. "Are the cats who attacked us here?" She didn't sound angry, only curious. I nodded, gesturing to a group of three cats.
Idk, I might've already posted Eva's part. Sorry if I did, and Kish's part is unfinished so yeah. I'll try to get more done soon.
