Thread Topic: 1st person or 3rd person?

Yeah the story I'm writing about a girl from Hawaii is in first person, but I tend to get REALLY detailed. That's just how I write.
-
The more detailed, the better! It helps you imagine it more.

IVE NEVER WRITTEN A BOOK OR STORY IN MY LIFE, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Whoa, buddy, what's your problem?
-
Andrea01 NewbieI like 1st person because like you've said you can add more detail and personal feelings in a story.
-
Though sometimes I tend to write in 3rd person, but 3rd person feels very solid and doesn't have any life to it.
-
I mostly write in 3rd person.

I usually write in limited 3rd person (meaning that you can only know the main character's thoughts, no one else's). 1st person seems too weird.
