Go HERMES! :D
-
Do you guys think Rick Riordan is a demigod? I mean, he sure does hit the the needle on the head with his books...
-
Either that or he was a mortal that could see through the mist. I'm just not sure if Camp Half-Blood is real.
-
It'd be cool if it was. I'd like to be able to go somewhere that I could train hard and learn all about fighting with my brothers and sisters!
-
Hello, Strangeling. Do you know who your godly parent is?
-
Any idea who my parent is?
-
I honestly can't say, Bianca. Maybe, you're like me, who was blessed by some gods/goddesses. Athena, because I'm really Math-smart; Aphrodite, for my youthfulness (I look younger than my age); Hades, for my lonliness (I know, me alone? But it's true...); And, of course, my own mother, for my love of granola and cereal. Apollo, for my poetry (though mine is better than his {DON'T TELL HIM I SAID THAT!}); Hermes, for my luck with getting away with taking food from my pantry (in my home, this is a big issue).
-
I think I might be a child of Ares (I'm SUPER aggressive!)
Or Hades (I'm really dark and a true loner. I hate mingling with people unless they're outcasts/goths. My one friend used to be a goth) -
If you are a child of Ares then the two of us could start some pretty great wars!!
Anyway, you might be mixed, like you mother was a daughter of Hades and you're a daughter of Ares, or you're the child of one and blessed by the other. -
^That sounds right. I have different "aspects" of all the major gods/goddesses, so that for a time I believed I was a daughter of Athena. Then it was Poseidon. Now that Mom claimed me, and explained to me, my life is so much clearer. So, you could be a daughter of Hades, with a blessing of Ares, or the other way around. But since it sounds like those two are main parts of your personalities, either one could be your dad. :P Life is hard when you have godly blessings and a godly parent.
-
Or Athena (me ish super smart)
I don't know if my godly parent is my mother or father. I have two parents and they keep claiming I'm their blood daughter. I kinda look a bit like them but my personality is almost 100% different -
I think I'm blessed by Athena. I only know Ares is my dad because I've been claimed. I'm a straight A honors student and I love reading. Odd mix until you remember that Athena is also the goddess of battle strategy.

@Bianca: I have the same problem! Not that my "mom" has a brown thumb, so she kils plants. Dad, I don't really know. I mean, he's military, so I don't see him all that often. But, you know what I got for my birthday? A statuette (torso and head) of a woman holding an armful of wheat. CLAIMING MUCH?! I think, because I've been having doubts about the gods existence (I've been brought up a Christian), that my mother wants me to know that she's real. And you know who gave it to me? One of my Church leaders. XD
-
When I was claimed, it was my 12th birthday. I walked into my room and sitting on my bed was a dagger with the words "O gios tou Ari" on it.
-
:O Cool. It was last year, during 8th grade, when I was outside, lying down on the grass outside that I knew. I didn't have a real claiming, as there were so many other people (who weren't half-bloods) around. So, I guess my fifteenth birthday present (the statue) was my claiming.
