The thing is, I really like Maine. It's the best place I've been in America, but it doesn't have really big cities. There way too much distance and room for my comfort. I like a happy medium, not too little but not too much.
I've never been to Canada yet though, but it's looks like a place I'd like. I've looked into the provinces Quebec and Nova Scotia and like them. And I would have to live in the east because I don't want to be too far from my parents.
So out of curiousity, how do people in Canada feel about American immigrants? Would it be hard to be accepted? -
Oh and the cities Montreal, Quebec and Halifax look best to me. :3
If I ever leave America, Canada or Japan is where I'd go. -
*IS CANADIAN*
We're usually very accepting :) we usually dislike americans for one reason: they brag about being better and say canada sucks when they move there involuntarily, i know someone who HAD to move here and had no choice and everyday keeps talking about how it was better in america and how much canada sucked compared to it. and that's not even the only part.
We're accepting as long as you're accepting. end of story.
IT's quite beautiful in Canada too :) I love the scenery and the mountains, if you liv in quebec or montreal, make sure you know how to speak French Canadien (there are bits of differences between actual french and Canadien French) Nova Scotia is an english speaking side so you'd be fine there.
But if you move to Canada, come visit British Columbia, I'll take you around Vancouver and the lakes and the mountains :3 -
I've been to Vancouver Twice and its Beatufiul. If i was you: MOVE TO CANADA.
-
If you do, VACATIONS TO NIAGARA FALLS ARE A REQUIREMENT!
Not for Canadians, I just really want to meet Ana :D -
I'm Canadian. As long as you don't act like you own the place, I'm fine with you. Visit Vancouver. I live in Ontario but BC is by far the most beautiful place I've seen. Also, Newfoundland.
-
I live in BC :D it really is beautiful here
-
Totally right, I'm very nice and friendly and I hate conceitedness. So me being accepting is of course. :)
And yesh! I have got to go to BC and Niagara Falls! :D Meeting you guys would be awesome and I'm sure it's very beautiful! ^__^
Oh and I'll need to learn me some French Canadian. xD -
I think Canada would be an awesome place to live.

johninMI NewbieI'd never move to Canada. It's a socialist country. You aren't allowed to be too rich, everything is taxed to hell, and if you get sick you're at the mercy of the government and it's socialized medicine.
-
A lot of us look past most of that and focus on the good side really.
I hate the high tax because of HST (we want to vote against it) but at least they decided to lower it. -
Meh. As long as GTQ is free, I'm happy!
