Basically, I provide them with this flowchart.
1. Is it European?
If no- please see bottom
If yes-
2. Is it Romanian or Portuguese?
If yes- Then no.
If no- (It is European and not the two listed) Yes.
If not European, is it Apache?
If yes- Why yes I do.
If no- Probably not, unless it's something I don't know about.
Or I could just be simple and say white, but who wants to be simple here? -
This is what I'd say if I want to be simple:
Germanic, Celtic, and Slavic.
If I want to mindfuck them:
German from the Prussian East Germany, Slovak (the less heard of twin of Czech Republic), the whole damn British isles which is English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh, Dutch from both Netherlands and Belgium, Austrian, Polish, and then some Swiss, French and Italian decided to tie themselves in there somewhere. -
This is what I say when someone says im full Mexican:
I'm half Hispanic,Norwigian,Irish,German,a Italian.
If I really want to mess with their heads:
I'm half Hispanic because of my fathers side of the family because they came up here becaue of my grandfatherand moved to Texas and then to Illinois. I'm Norwegian on my mothers side and related to royalty, but they left to come to America and settled in Chicago. The Irish fromes from my my Norwigian family marrying into and Irish family. We also were mixed with Germans, But I dont kknow how. I'm Italian because we mixed in with a few people . My mothers side helped Al Chapone escape capture by the cops, also another one but I dont remember his name.
And thats mine. pretty long and a mouthfull but im fine with it. -
Ethnicities are ultimately kind of silly. It really only serves to divide us. As long we're all from the same country, we don't need to identify as anything other than American. I'm French, Irish, and Jewish, and it is part of who I am, but ultimately I am an American first.

If I want to be simple I say:
I'm a mut.
If I want to me somewhat simple, I say:
I'm English, Irish, Dutch, German, Scottish and Czech.
If I want to go into detail:
I am mostly German, seeing as my great grandfather (or my great great grandfather, I get him confused with my Czech -grandfather all the time) but my great grandfather on my dads side was German, and I'm not sure of any exact thing from my moms side but I'm also German there too. And then after German I'm mostly Czech, since my great grandfather (I think he was my great grandfather anyways. Like I said I get confused) but he decided to come over from Czechoslovakia to America. And then I'm also English, Irish, Dutch, Scottish and I think a little bit Native American but I could be wrong, but I'm not sure at all about my moms side of the family when it comes to heritage so I only know the countries, not the specifics like I do with my dads side.
Yeah, I can have a really short explaination if I want or I can have a really long explaination if I want. It just depends on what I feel like telling. -
I just tell them I'm on drugs.
